Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the Adoption Lancashire Blackpool service, supporting adoptive families and individuals across the region. This post sits within Adoption Services and is offered on a locum basis at £36.00 per hour, starting 25 May 2026.

Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Experience working within Adoption Services is highly desirable.

All candidates must meet the following requirements:
• At least three years’ experience in a permanent post within a local authority.
• Must not have held a permanent or fixed-term position with a local authority within the last 12 weeks.
