Job Description

Gateshead Council is seeking a qualified Childrens Advanced Practitioner to join their Children’s Social Care service, based at the Civic Centre, NE8 1HH. The role involves completing both short-term and long-term casework across Family Help and Child Protection, with some cases potentially progressing into Public Law Outline (PLO). The position is available from 14 May 2026 on an ongoing interim basis, paying £34.45 per hour.
