Job Description

Qualified Social Worker required for Lancashire County Council, based at Accrington Library (BB5 1NQ). Rate: £36.00 per hour. Start date: 18 May 2026.

Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England, with a minimum of three years’ statutory experience in a permanent local authority post. Candidates must not have held a permanent or fixed-term position with a local authority within the last 12 weeks.
