Job Description

Southwark Council is seeking an experienced Application Support Manager/Systems Consultant for an interim project engagement based at the Frensham Street depot, Southwark (SE15 6TH). Paying £430.70–£600.01 per day, this role starts 3 August 2026.

The position requires specialist knowledge of Total Mobile Connect and ideally NEC Housing, with the primary focus on resolving configuration issues and leading the implementation of van stock on Connect. You will provide product lead support on-site and act as the technical authority for Asset Management Applications within the council’s corporate systems portfolio.

Key responsibilities include ensuring applications operate efficiently, managing tickets and support requests promptly, leading upgrades and new application projects, and liaising with service managers and senior stakeholders. You will also share knowledge through documentation, provide informal user training, and ensure adequate cover across the team.

The ideal candidate will have detailed technical knowledge of Asset Management systems, confidence working with data and SQL, and a good understanding of ITIL principles. A degree or equivalent qualification is essential, along with proven experience managing supplier relationships and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
