Job Description

Manchester Youth Justice is an exciting and innovative multi-agency partnership seeking an experienced, qualified Probation Officer to join their team at Longsight District Office, Manchester.

This is a rewarding and challenging role working with young people and their families who have entered the Criminal Justice system. You will work closely with courts, young people, and families to deliver effective planning and positive outcomes, helping individuals move away from offending behaviour and build a better future. Day-to-day you will support young people to access education, employment, treatment, and counselling to reduce reoffending.

This is a temporary contract running from 3 August 2026 to 29 January 2027, paying £20.43 per hour PAYE (£26.32 umbrella). An immediate start is available.
