Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join Sheffield City Council’s Equipment and Adaptations Team. Based at Howden House, this role involves assessing service users’ needs for equipment and adaptations to support independent living, safety and wellbeing at home. You will work closely with colleagues across health and social care to recommend appropriate aids, minor and major adaptations, and equipment provision in line with assessed need. This is a temporary assignment running from September 2026 to March 2027, paying £30 per hour. Candidates should hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.
