Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join Lincoln City Family Assessment and Support Team, co-located with Family Help, Futures4Me and Family Time colleagues. You will manage a varied caseload spanning Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care, alongside involvement in both private and public law proceedings. Duties include completing high-quality Child and Family Assessments, developing effective plans with families and partner agencies, reviewing progress, demonstrating strong risk assessment and risk management skills, and preparing clear analytical reports for court and statutory processes. You will support children to step down to universal services or escalate concerns to safeguard welfare, undertake direct work with children to understand their lived experience, and build positive relationships with families and professionals. Candidates need experience across statutory children’s social care and the ability to work independently within a supportive team. Hybrid working is available, with flexibility to work from home when not on duty, plus secure parking and a central office location.
