Childrens Team Manager – Families First Team – #5297969

Job Description

Durham County Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Childrens Team Manager to cover sickness absence within the Families First Team, based at Spennymoor Green Lane Council Offices, DL16 6JQ.

This is an interim locum position paying £37.66 per hour, available from 14 June 2026. You will provide management oversight and leadership to the Families First Team, ensuring high-quality practice and effective service delivery for children and families in the Durham area.

Applicants must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Previous experience in a children’s services team management role is essential.
