Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Childrens Advanced Practitioner to join Durham County Council’s Newton Aycliffe Families First team, based at the One Point Hub, DL5 4HX.

Working alongside the Team Manager and Social Work Consultant, you will provide stability and professional support to the team whilst holding your own caseload. This is a pivotal role that combines direct practice with a broader responsibility for supporting colleagues and maintaining service quality.

The role is offered on a locum basis at £35.45 per hour, commencing 14 June 2026.
