Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Advanced Practitioner to join Durham County Council’s Families First Team based at Spennymoor Green Lane Council Offices, DL16 6JQ.

Working alongside the Team Manager and Social Work Consultant, you will provide additional stability and support to the team whilst holding your own caseload. This is a key senior practice role contributing to the day-to-day functioning and quality of a busy children’s social work team.

The role is offered on a locum basis at £35.45 per hour, commencing 14 June 2026.
