Job Description

Durham County Council is recruiting a Children’s Team Manager for the Families First team based at Newton Aycliffe One Point Hub, DL5 4HX. This is a locum role covering a secondment vacancy, paying £37.66 per hour, with a start date of 15 June 2026.

You will step in to lead and manage the Families First team in Newton Aycliffe, maintaining service delivery and supporting practitioners through the transition period.

A recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration are essential. Team Manager experience in a children’s social care setting is required.
