Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding service in Preston. Based at CSC Ripon Street, this role sits within a children’s social care team supporting families where safeguarding concerns have been identified, working to keep children safely at home wherever possible.

You will hold a complex caseload, providing high-quality assessments and interventions, supporting less experienced colleagues, and working closely with partner agencies within the family safeguarding model. The role requires a recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration, along with substantial post-qualifying experience in children’s statutory social work.

This is a well-supported team offering regular supervision and opportunities for professional development. Interviews are being arranged as soon as possible, so early application is encouraged.
