Job Description

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a qualified Social Care professional to cover an Assistant Team Manager vacancy within the Fostering Team, based at 31 Chester Street, Wrexham (LL13 8BG).

In this role you will support and supervise Supervising Social Workers who are responsible for ensuring foster carers deliver safe care to looked after children, operating under the All Wales Pledge framework.

This is a locum position paying £31.06–£41.58 per hour via Prism, commencing 28 September 2026. Social Care qualification and registration are required.
