Job Description

An experienced Adults Social Worker is sought for Sheffield City Council to cover a 12-month secondment within the Adult Social Care First Contact Mental Health team. This is a part-time role, 22 hours per week over 3 days, based at Howden House, Sheffield. Working within the First Contact service, the successful candidate will provide timely, high-quality mental health social work input to adults at the point of first contact with services, undertaking assessments and interventions in line with statutory requirements. This role suits an experienced qualified social worker confident working in a fast-paced first response setting. Applicants must hold a recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration, along with relevant post-qualifying mental health experience.
