Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker to join Sheffield City Council’s Mental Health Team, based at Northlands Community Health Centre, Southey Hill, Sheffield. This role involves supporting adults with mental health needs, undertaking assessments, care planning and reviews in line with statutory requirements. You will work as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, person-centred support to vulnerable adults, liaising with health colleagues and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Previous experience in adult mental health settings is desirable. This is a temporary assignment offering £30 per hour, running from 14 September 2026 to 12 March 2027.
