Job Description

Sheffield City Council is seeking a qualified Adults Social Worker to join the Future Options Supported Living Team, supporting adults to move towards greater independence through appropriate supported living arrangements. The role will involve holding a caseload of adults with care and support needs, undertaking assessments and reviews, and working collaboratively with providers, families and other professionals to identify and progress suitable supported living options.

You will need to be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with experience of adult social care assessment and support planning. This is a temporary assignment based at Howden House, Sheffield, running from September 2026 to March 2027, paying £30 per hour.
