Job Description

Somerset Council is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker for an on-site acute hospital role based at Yeovil (BA21 4AT), supporting hospital discharges in line with the intermediate care process. The role requires sound knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and discharge planning, with a requirement to work on-site daily. This is a locum position paying £27.78–£38.00 per hour, commencing 6 July 2026.
