Job Description

Semester Resourcing is recruiting a Childrens Social Worker for City of Doncaster Council’s East Help and Protection Team, based in Thorne, Doncaster (DN8 4BQ).

This is a temporary post running from 17 August to 10 November 2026, paying £32–£35 per hour. The role sits within a Help and Protection service, which typically encompasses child in need, child protection, and early help casework for children and families in the east locality of Doncaster.

Applicants must be qualified social workers registered with Social Work England and have demonstrable experience in children’s statutory services. Experience in child protection and working within a Help and Protection or similar locality team is particularly advantageous.
