Multi-agency Violence and Exploitation (MAVE) and Multi-agency Child Exploitation (MACE) Panel Coordinator.

This post involves the coordination of two multi-agency meetings and as such requires excellent administrative skills as a priority.’

Main purpose of post

To coordinate and administrate the Lambeth Multiagency Violence and Exploitation (MAVE) and the Lambeth Multiagency Child Exploitation (MACE) Panel in order to ensure the effective operation, performance and delivery of this panel, in partnership with key Lambeth safeguarding partners.

The MAVE and MACE panels work in coordination to safeguard young people at risk of harm in the community. The MAVE panel is the operational panel and serves to problem solve for services targeted at young people, their families, and the locations they cohabit. The MACE coordinates the strategic response and provides the escalation process for MAVE issues.

Support the multi-agency Contextual Safeguarding response, with a particular focus on the coordination of a multi-agency response to children and young adults and peer groups at high risk of extra-familial harm; locations where extra-familial harm occurs; and perpetrators and individuals of concern.
