Night Residential Childcare Worker

Willow View Children’s Home

Willow Vue are looking for people who believe they have the qualities and skills needed to support Looked After Children who have complex needs.  You will need to be resilient, emotionally, and physically fit to do this role. As well as being able to work flexibly on a rota basis which will include  weekends, and bank holidays. 
Willow Vue have a very supportive staff and management team in place. Willow Vue is rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

Contract Type: Temporary 3 – 6 months contract

Shift Pattern : 21:45 – 07:45
Hours: 35 hours, 14 nights over a 4-week period [ 2nights first week , 5-night following week and so forth over the 4week rota ] .                                                                   

To work as part of a rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays as required (these arrangements may be subject to change at short notice)

  • DBS Check Required: Yes
  • Male Preferred for the position.
  • PI training dated within the last two years.
  • Experience: 1 year of working with children, children and young people aged 11 – 18yr olds.
  • Qualification(s) Preferred: Yes, Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in working with Children and Young People in Residential Care or its equivalent or Social Work/Youth Work qualification or working towards.
  • You must hold a full driving licence.

  • Post qualified experience.
