Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

Qualified Social worker with experience of working restoratively with Children looked after and their families. Must be able to manage performance and a caseload of around 22 children.

Clean DBS, driving licence and use of car.

Full time Social Workers to work within the 13+ Children Looked After Teams.

This involves primarily working with young people aged 13yrs and above who are subject to Full Care Orders or S 20 arrangements.

You will have experience of working with Children looked After and have a good understating of your statutory responsibilities.

it is desirable to have experience of working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking children (UASCs) and have experience of completing brief enquiries and age assessments.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with adults.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.

  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
