Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking a Team Assistant for Southern Housing’s Direct Services Supply Chain team, based full-time at The Tramsheds, Croydon (CR0 4TQ). Paying £14.83–£19.22 per hour, starting 15 June 2026.

This is a fully office-based role supporting the repairs and maintenance supply chain. You will place orders directly with contractors for repair and maintenance works, liaise with internal teams on repairs to tenanted properties, and handle invoice discrepancies and price queries. Day-to-day duties include tracking and amending orders, contacting contractors and residents to resolve repair delays or missed appointments, reviewing overdue orders, and providing general purchasing administration support to scheduling teams and contract managers.

Essential: a background in housing, maintenance, or local council environments, plus proven experience working in an office-based role. If you have the right background and are available to start in June, please get in touch with our team today.
