Job Description

An experienced Social Worker is required to join Blackpool Council’s Continuing Health Care (CHC) Team on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) until 30/11/2026. This is a varied post within a well-established, multi-disciplinary team, supporting health colleagues across a wide range of tasks including monitoring long-term CHC provision, joint reviews, safeguarding, assessments under the Care Act 2014, Decision Support Tool meetings and Court of Protection work. Candidates should be passionate about supporting the Blackpool community, committed to professional development in line with Social Work England protocols, and hold a recognised social work qualification with current Social Work England registration. This is a hybrid role requiring office attendance three days per week, with staff parking available at reduced rates.
