Cardiff Council is seeking a Housing Options Support Officer to join the Housing Options Service, supporting clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Duties include processing applications for bonds and rent in advance, providing advice and information by telephone, email, web chat and face to face, liaising with private landlords and letting agencies, supporting assessment officers, maintaining the housing waiting list, and preparing statistical information. You will carry out general office duties, maintain accurate records, work to individual and team KPIs, and handle confidential data securely in line with Council policies. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a busy team.
