An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Assistant Director Repairs & Compliance and the Director of Housing at the London Borough of Haringey, based at Station Road, N22 7TY.
This is a temporary role paying £22.79–£29.75 per hour via Prism, starting 27 July 2026.
You will provide professional, proactive diary management and administrative support to ensure the Directors’ time is used effectively. Key responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling meetings, securing venues, issuing timely invitations and agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining action logs. You will circulate and preview papers, flag open actions, manage apologies for conflicts, and agree attendance priorities with the Directors.
Additionally, you will monitor email inboxes for Member and urgent enquiries, track and chase information requests, redirect enquiries as appropriate, and respond to supplier and other unsolicited correspondence. You will also support staff administration including sickness and annual leave management, recruitment coordination, timesheet approvals, and procurement and invoicing processes.
The ideal candidate will be an organised, detail-oriented EA or senior administrator with experience supporting senior leaders in a local authority or similarly complex organisation. Strong minute-taking, diary management, and inbox management skills are essential.
