Job Description
Sheaf Training in Sheffield (S5 7BH) has bookings available for Educational Support Workers to provide support to young people with High Needs, helping remove barriers to learning and promoting effective participation in education that prepares young people for adulthood.
Working under the direction of tutors and managers, you will support and facilitate the delivery of education programmes to small groups and individuals across areas including Skills for Independence, Health, Happiness and Belonging, Employment and Work-Related Learning, Becoming Aspirational, Foundations for Life, and Maths and English.
You will ensure learners are kept safe at all times and that all work is conducted in line with statutory regulations and Sheffield City Council guidance and best practice.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The rate is £15.56 per hour. Placements run from 1 September 2026 to 30 July 2027.
