Job Description

Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Team Manager to lead the Children With Disabilities Team on a temporary basis.

This is an office-based role working from Gardenfold Way, Droylsden, Tameside (M43 7XU), running from 6th July to 31st August 2026.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised social work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and bring proven experience managing a children’s social work team. Experience working within children with disabilities services would be a strong advantage.
