Job Description
City of Doncaster Council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join Help & Protection Team 1, based at Adwick Leisure Centre, Doncaster (DN6 7QF) with free on-site parking.
This is a locum role running from 24 August to 30 December 2026, paying £32–£35 per hour via XMS.
The team offers monthly supervision and monthly Stop the Clock sessions, providing structured reflective time to support your practice and manage workload demands. You will hold a caseload within a help and protection service, working with children and families where there are safeguarding concerns.
Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and statutory children’s services is essential.
