Job Description
Bury Council (GM Collaboration) is seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding team, covering Court and Child Protection work. Based at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury (BL9 0EJ), this is a temporary role running from 22 June to 1 September 2026, paying £36 per hour.
The role sits within a Family Safeguarding (Court/CP) team and will involve child protection and court-related casework. Candidates must have a minimum 5 years’ employment history available for referencing, with any gaps in employment checked. All relevant qualifications will be verified as per the Job Description and Person Specification.
