Job Description

Bromley Council is seeking a Contact Centre Support Worker to support the practical delivery of contact arrangements for children and young people in line with agreed care plans and court requirements.

Based at Churchill Court, Bromley, this role focuses on coordinating and administering contact sessions, ensuring venues and resources are prepared and available, and maintaining a well-presented centre environment. You will assist contact supervisors, the co-ordinator, and manager with the smooth running of the service, and provide light administration and logistics support associated with family time and contact arrangements.

Please note: this is not a Family Support Worker, Supervised Contact Worker, or casework role. The post holder will not be conducting parenting support, family interventions, therapeutic work, assessments, or ongoing casework with children, parents, or wider family members, and is not responsible for observing and recording parent-child interactions. The primary focus is on safeguarding, coordination, administration, and practical support of contact arrangements.

Rate: £13.60–£17.60 per hour. Start date: 21 August 2026. Sourced via Prism.
