Job Description
Bury Council (GM Collaboration) is seeking a Childrens Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team on a temporary basis, based at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury, BL9 0EJ.
This is a part-time post of 30 hours per week (day off required, but not Monday or Friday). The role runs from 22 June 2026 to 25 September 2026 at a rate of £35 per hour.
Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. A 5-year employment reference history is required, with gaps in employment history checked and relevant qualifications verified in line with the job description and person specification.
This vacancy is subject to DfE Recommendation Compliance. Suppliers must complete the DfE Recommendation Compliance Questions on the Details tab and attach the completed file to the candidate record prior to submission. Applications that do not pass these questions will not be progressed.
