Job Description

Bury Council (GM Collaboration) is seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities (CWD) service, based at Knowsley Street, Bury, BL9 0SW. This is a locum engagement running from 22 June to 15 September 2026, paying £38 per hour.

Experience working with children with disabilities is essential for this role. Candidates must be able to provide a 5-year employment reference history, with any gaps in employment accounted for.

This vacancy is sourced via XMS. Suppliers must complete the DfE Recommendation Compliance Questions on the Details tab and attach the completed file to the candidate record prior to submission. Applications from candidates who do not pass the DfE compliance questions will not be progressed.
