Job Description

Doncaster Children’s Services is seeking experienced, qualified Social Workers to join a range of teams on fixed-term contracts lasting 3-12 months. You will manage complex caseloads across safeguarding, child protection, children in need and looked after children work, completing statutory assessments, risk assessments and Section 47 investigations, and developing child-centred plans to achieve positive outcomes. You’ll work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, prepare high-quality reports for meetings, reviews and court proceedings, and apply sound professional judgement to inform decision-making. Candidates must be Qualified Social Workers registered with Social Work England, with proven Children’s Services experience, strong assessment and report-writing skills, and confidence managing complex cases. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
