Job Description

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking a Childrens Advanced Practitioner to join their Locality Service, based at the Cudworth Lift Building in Barnsley (S72 8SU).

This is a temporary role running from 18 May to 14 August 2026, paying £37 per hour. The working pattern requires 3 days on-site per week.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans, along with court experience. Social Work England registration is essential.
