Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Childrens Advanced Practitioner on the Duty and Assessment Team at Bury Council, working as part of the GM Collaboration. Based at 3 Knowsley Place, Bury (BL9 0EJ), this is a full-time role of 37 hours per week, paying £40 per hour. The placement runs from 24 August 2026 to 30 September 2026, with workers expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Candidates must have a recognised social work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and provide 5 years of references with employment history gaps accounted for. This role is subject to DfE Recommendation Compliance Questions, which must be completed and attached to the candidate record prior to submission — applications will not progress without this step.
