Job Description

South Tyneside Council require a Care Worker at Hagan Hall, NE32 4QX for the following shifts: Thursday 23/7/26 4pm–10pm, Friday 24/7/26 2:30pm–10pm, and Sunday 26/7/26 7am–2:30pm. A medication qualification is preferred. Candidates should hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), Care Certificate (if new to care), First Aid and Manual Handling certificates, and a clear enhanced DBS for adults and children. A Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Medication Training are also desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to dignity, respect and safeguarding, and flexibility to work across a rota including evenings and weekends are essential.
