Job Description

Knowsley Borough Council is seeking two experienced Adults Social Workers for interim roles based at Municipal Buildings, Liverpool, L32 1TX, paying £25.00–£32.82 per hour from 20 July 2026.

One post sits within the Mental Health Team, carrying a caseload of service users open to secondary MH services. The second post is within the Transition Team — experience in children’s social care (CSC) is desirable, though an adults social work background is essential for both positions.

Both roles require qualified social worker status with current Social Work England registration and demonstrable experience in adult services. If you are an experienced Adults Social Worker available from July 2026 and interested in either of these posts, please get in touch.
