Job Description

Bolton Council is seeking two experienced Mental Health Social Workers for a locum engagement based at Bentley House, Weston Street, Bolton (BL3 2RR). The role runs from 31 August to 30 November 2026 at £33 per hour.

Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England, with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in mental health social work. Experience within an Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) is a distinct advantage. Evidence that the ASYE was completed within two years of qualifying is required.

Candidates must be car drivers and able to commence within four weeks of offer. Three years of sound references must be available.
