Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker or Learning Disabilities Nurse for a secondment role within a high-performing, supportive Learning Disabilities team based in Louth, Lincolnshire — a market town serving both rural and urban communities.

You will work in a strengths-based way to achieve the best outcomes for adults with learning disabilities, drawing on Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and non-statutory services to meet needs and contribute to care plans. Lincolnshire prides itself on supporting people to live as independently as possible, and you will play a key part in delivering that vision through excellent recording, robust assessments, and sound legal literacy.

Requirements: qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered) or LD Nurse; minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience; demonstrable experience of complex casework; strong knowledge of relevant social care legislation.

Rate: £450.00–£612.90 per day. Start date: 13 July 2026.
