Job Description

Join a welcoming, supportive and stable frontline children and families team based in Louth, Lincolnshire, working with children and families from the point of referral through CIN, CP, and Care Proceedings.

This is a qualified Advanced Practitioner role covering the full continuum of frontline children’s social work. You will complete Child and Family Assessments, work collaboratively with partner agencies including Family Help, Family Group Decision Making and health, and carry cases within both the CIN and CP frameworks. Experience in managing private and public law proceedings is essential.

The team operates a three-weekly duty rotation — one week on duty (office-based, receiving referrals and new allocations) and two weeks off duty. The base in Louth offers free on-site parking and sits in the picturesque rural Lincolnshire Wolds.

The role is offered on a locum basis via Prism at £29.51–£40.00 per hour, starting 31 July 2026.
