Job Description

An experienced Social Worker is sought by Lincolnshire County Council to hold a complex caseload within Children’s Services, based at Richmond Drive, North Kesteven. You will undertake in-depth family assessments focusing on parental capacity and risk, working directly with children, young people and families using the Signs of Safety methodology. Duties include recognising indicators of harm including CSE, FGM and neglect, navigating family and youth justice frameworks, preparing court evidence, and contributing to permanence planning including fostering and adoption reviews. The post holder will work within a supportive supervision structure alongside Practice Supervisors and senior practice leaders, with opportunities to mentor students and work towards the Practice Educator qualification. Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, PGDip or MA/MSc), be registered with Social Work England, hold a full driving licence, and have at least two years’ post-qualifying experience.
