Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Adults Hub at City of Doncaster Council. This role focuses on triaging adult safeguarding referrals by telephone, attending multi-agency planning and risk assessment meetings for adults at risk of abuse or neglect, reviewing safeguarding enquiries raised to partner agencies, and providing specialist safeguarding advice to other professionals. You will also review and authorise work completed by Community Care Officers. No home visiting is required in this post. Hybrid working is facilitated, with social workers attending the Civic Office in Doncaster once weekly on Thursdays, and working from home the rest of the week; full-time hours are required, though these may be condensed. Candidates must hold current HCPC registration and be able to meet an Enhanced DBS Check with Adults Barred List.
