Job Description

Bolton Council’s Leaving Care service is seeking a qualified Childrens Social Worker to support Looked After Children, Care Leavers and Homeless Young People aged 16 to 25 as they develop their Pathway into independence. You will bring outstanding communication skills, the ability to engage resistant young people, and strong assessment, analysis and planning skills to manage complex and challenging needs, risks and behaviours. Working within a busy, dynamic team with a strong teamwork ethos and frequent team meetings, this is demanding but rewarding statutory work redressing the disadvantage faced by care leavers. Full-time, 37 hours per week, hybrid working with free on-site parking. Five years’ references and relevant qualifications required as per job description. Apply now to join this supportive team.
