Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council’s Lincoln FAST (Front Line Assessment Service Team) is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to cover planned short-term sickness, based at St Giles Family Centre, Lincoln (LN2 4EQ).

This is a fast-paced, front-line team undertaking assessments of children and their families. The team holds cases across CIN, Child Protection, and Children in Care, and is involved in both public and private law proceedings.

You will be expected to carry out a range of assessments including parenting, risk, sibling, and kinship assessments, and to work collaboratively with families to develop intervention plans that promote sustained change and safety for children.

The team operates a duty rota: every fourth week you will be on duty and required to be in the office five full days. In non-duty weeks, a hybrid working pattern applies with a mix of office attendance and home working.

Rate: £218.30 – £297.32 per day. Start date: 13 July 2026. Social Work England registration is essential.
