Job Description

A Local Authority in Bromley is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker or Specialist Social Worker to join its Referral and Assessment Service on a locum basis, paying £29.79 per hour. The role is based at Churchill Court, Bromley, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

The Referral and Assessment Service receives all new referrals from the Bromley MASH and undertakes Child and Family assessments to determine how best children’s needs can be met. The service comprises seven teams, each led by a Team Manager and supported by five Social Workers. Teams rotate onto duty for one week in every seven, during which Social Workers receive new allocations.

Candidates must hold a recognised Social Work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have significant experience of working in a Referral and Assessment setting. Only candidates with demonstrable R&A experience will be considered.
