Job Description

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is seeking a Support Worker for its Care and Support service, based in Derbyshire (DE75). This is a community and project-based role within the Homes and Wellbeing Directorate, starting 8 June 2026 at a daily rate of £90.35–£119.43 via Prism.

You will support individuals to live as independently as possible, respecting their dignity, rights, and choices. Responsibilities include devising and implementing individual care and support plans with risk assessments, providing personal care, administering medications, assisting with domestic tasks, key-working named service users, and supporting those who may present behavioural challenges. You will also be responsible for safeguarding adults and/or children, maintaining accurate records on NCHA’s IT systems, and managing day-to-day health, safety, and financial administration.

The role operates on a rota/shift system including weekends, bank holidays, and may include night-time and sleeping-in duties. An Enhanced DBS with barred list check is required.
