Job Description

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking experienced Support Workers for its Supported Living service, available from 25 May 2026. Paying £13.69–£17.73 per hour via Prism.

You will support adults with enhanced complex needs, including learning disabilities, to live independently in their own homes across Wrexham. The focus is on promoting wellbeing, independence, and community inclusion in a person-centred way.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality personal support, assisting individuals in maintaining their tenancies and daily living skills, supporting access to community activities and social connections, following individual support plans, and working collaboratively with permanent staff, families, and professionals. Accurate record-keeping and adherence to safeguarding and health and safety protocols are essential.

Ideal candidates will be empathetic and respectful, experienced (or willing to learn) in supporting individuals with complex needs, and able to work flexibly across shifts, weekends, and lone working. You must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

This is an on-site role based at supported living houses in Wrexham. Induction will be provided. An enhanced DBS and references are required prior to placement.
