Job Description

Semester Recruitment is sourcing Support Workers for Wrexham County Borough Council, based across three recovery supported living houses in Wrexham (LL13 8BG). The role runs on 12-hour day shifts between 9am and 9pm, with a pay rate of £13.26–£17.15 per hour, starting 18 May 2026.

You will provide person-centred support to adults with severe and enduring mental ill health, helping them achieve their care and support plans and promoting recovery and independence. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, cooking, household tasks, medication, appointments, and leisure activities, all delivered in line with WCBC policy and statutory requirements.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow care and support plans and risk assessments are essential. Mental health training is desirable but not essential. An enhanced DBS is required.
