Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Bromley, working from Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road.

This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced, multi-agency safeguarding environment where your assessments and decision-making will directly shape outcomes for children and families at the point of first contact with statutory services. You will be working collaboratively with partner agencies to gather intelligence, assess risk, and determine the most appropriate response for children who may be at risk of harm.

Key responsibilities include conducting timely and thorough MASH enquiries, analysing information from partner agencies, contributing to multi-agency decision-making, and ensuring robust safeguarding practice throughout. The role requires confident, experienced practitioners who can manage complex referrals and exercise sound professional judgement under pressure.

Candidates must have recent, clearly demonstrated MASH experience — this is an absolute requirement, and CVs without evident MASH experience will not be considered. The position is a 3-month agency assignment at a rate of £29.38–£38.45 per hour, starting 11 May 2026. The role is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
