Job Description
Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a Tenant Data Collection Officer to join its Housing Division, based at Council Offices, Nottingham (NG9 1AB). This is a temporary role paying £26.00–£34.00 per hour, starting 20 July 2026.
Reporting to the Housing Performance Manager, you will identify gaps in tenant data held across Housing systems and work proactively to gather, record, and maintain accurate tenant information in compliance with data protection regulations including GDPR.
Key responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date tenant records covering personal information and tenancy details; producing data gap reports; conducting surveys, interviews, and document reviews; and visiting tenants in their homes in line with lone working and risk assessment procedures. You will also generate surveys using Microsoft Office and web-based forms, liaise with colleagues to encourage completion, and ensure proper consent is obtained for all data processing activities.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to engage effectively with tenants, internal colleagues, and stakeholders. A designated car user status is attached to this post, so a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. Occasional evening and weekend working may be needed.
If you have a background in housing data, tenancy management, or a similar data-focused administrative role and are available to start in July 2026, please get in touch.
